How the cycle runs
From entry to recognition.
Each Joche Gauntlet cycle runs for 21 days, consisting of a 14-day competition period followed by a 7-day review, verification, and results period.

Entry is free for eligible and verified participants. Create an account, verify your details, and enter the current cycle - no payment, no subscription.

Compete on the record
Challenges drop across 2 session days in the 14-day competition period: Wednesday 8 PM WAT and Sunday 6 PM WAT (2x points on live Sunday challenges). Every submission is AI-assessed against published criteria within 60 minutes, and each score posts to the public leaderboard.

Become the Champion
The 7-day review and results period completes the cycle. Scores are verified, the final leaderboard locks, and the top scorer is named this cycle's Champion, featured on the Builder Spotlight and Evidence Board. The Champion Award is transferred by bank within 7 working days.

Take-Home Project
AI scoredOne brief per cycle - a real business or creative deliverable (pitch memo, brand strategy, product spec, campaign concept). You have 72 hours from when the Sunday session opens to submit. Scored on the same 4 dimensions, each worth double points.

4 challenges on Wednesday and 4 on Sunday, one of which is the 72-hour take-home project. Designed to stretch the disciplines a working Nigerian builder actually needs.

Every submission is AI-assessed against the same published rubric, with human moderation limited to fraud, plagiarism, and technical errors. Results within 60 minutes.
Open results
Leaderboards, scores and past payouts are all public.
Merit-based access
Entry is free and open to any verified account. Champions are decided by score, not by chance.
